THE FOUNDATION
Our organization was founded by a Navy Veteran who learned a valuable lesson when purchasing his first home.
Fresh out of the Navy, with limited knowledge and resources; not to mention the real estate and lender industry bias towards the VA Loan, he purchased his first home using a loan product other than the VA Loan.
After the fact, he realized that the VA loan was the best option for him. Instead of dwelling on the past, he decided to create a nonprofit to educate and counsel ALL who needed help preparing for homeownership. This is how the USA Homeowemership Foundation, Inc. was founded in 2011
BUT HE WAS NOT DONE…
The feeling of being guided away from the VA Loan never left him, so he created a sister veteran service organization called the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) with a mission increase sustainable homeownership, financial-literacy education, VA loan awareness, and economic opportunity for the active-military and veteran communities.

VAREP PARTNERSHIP
The USA Homeownership Foundation provides education and counseling to its military and veteran home buyers, while its sister organization, VAREP, provides a national network of certified housing professionals to connect with mortgage-ready homebuyers and provide outstanding service.
As a result of this partnership, the “Praise our Heroes” Savings Program was developed to provide Military, Veterans, Police, Firefighters, EMT, Healthcare Providers, and Teachers with savings during their real estate transactions.
This collaboration is a win for those who have served us!
